63. meryl streep - i can't deny she's able to transform herself physically & vocally, but to me

her acting & films always feel sterile & false.

i've never thought of her as a good actress for that reason. funny, though, in the interviews i've seen she comes across relaxed & genuine, with a sense of humor. completely different from the sterile impression i get from her work.
