48. MASH. Did the Korean War really last 11 years?
I mean, they had more Christmas episodes than the Korean War had Christmases.

Colonel Blake dying was when everything changed. Trapper left and Potter and Hunnicut joined the show.

Then Frank Burns leaves and is replaced by Winchester.

Then Radar left for a season or something.

By the end, Alan Alda had obviously aged beyond 3 years, and the show was not as much funny as it was preachy and maudlin.
