13. The "Night Brfore Resignation" sketck -- one of the funniest EVER on TV
Edited on Sat Nov-20-04 11:50 AM by johnfunk
Madeleine Kahn played Pat Nixon, three (dozen) sheets to the wind, writing in her diary. Aykroyd was Nixon, on the night before his resignation, having paranoid "conversations" with presidential portraits on the White House wall...
"... and you, John Kennedy! You were lucky -- they shot you!"
Garrett Morris was hilarious as Sammy Davis Jr., and Chevy Chase as David Eisenhower ("My God! He does look like Howdy Doody!").
ON EDIT: Punctuation fix.
