10. Man suspected of shooting deputy arrested in South Carolina
"OREGON CITY — A man suspected of shooting at a Clackamas County sheriff's deputy was arrested in South Carolina, authorities said Wednesday.
Manuel Franco-Cruz, 34, of Woodburn allegedly fired multiple bullets at a deputy following a chase near Canby on April 12, sheriff's spokeswoman Angela Brandenburg said.
He apparently fled Oregon soon afterward, Brandenburg said. Computer records indicated he had possible contacts in Charleston County, S.C., she said."
