Netanyahu's other task for next week is to present the Likud as a centrist party, which recent polls presented to Netanyahu indicate would bring in more votes. The fact that the most visible of the "rebels," such as Ayoub Kara, Michael Ratzon, Ehud Yatom and Uzi Landau were pushed to lower places on the list is to the chairman's advantage.

Netanyahu will begin next week to formulate his political-security platform, which he will present as pragmatic and responsible, showing an Olmert-led Kadima as gambling with the security of Israel's citizens.

Netanyahu is also said to be pleased with the presence on the list of "the Russians" - former minister Natan Sharansky in 11th place, and MK Yuli Edelstein in 15th place, since he hopes that with Sharon not heading Kadima, Russian-Israelis will gravitate to Likud.

Somehow Netanyhu doesn't look like a Bush Buddy!!!
