was lost when it occupied the lands of other people. This has nothing to do with propaganda. As to whether it has a "right to exist" - well of course it does. Much as the Palestinians have a right to work their fields in peace. You and I have a right to live, but it can be seriously impaired by our actions.

Do you believe that Israel (in the classic Homeland for the Jews formulation) has a right to exist no matter what the cost to the rest of humanity ? Do you feel that Israel's right to exist justifies the use of nuclear weapons to cancel potential threats such as Iran ? What about my rights as a citizen of the U.S. to live in a country free from foreign entanglements as its founders intended ? Is that right subordinate to the right of Israwl to exist ? I'd rather that it wasn't (not that I have much choice).
