By Haaretz Service and The Associated Press

Two Israeli Arabs were indicted Sunday for alleged involvement in a terrorist cell broken up recently by the Shin Bet security service and the police.

Army Radio reported that the cell, which operated in a village close to the northern city of Nazareth, included activists in the Balad party.

According to the report, the cell was trained, funded and directed by Hezbollah, with the aim of carrying out attacks inside Israel, including suicide bombings.

The two central figures in the cell, brothers Gassan and Sirhan Atmala, were charged Sunday with working for a terrorist organization, Army Radio said. The two were arrested several weeks ago.

Balad leader Azmi Bishara has been charged with incitement for speeches he made in Syria and an Israeli Arab town that allegedly condoned violence against Israel. If convicted, he could serve three years in jail.

Six Hezbollah-operated terror cells made up of Israelis Arabs have been exposed since 2003, Israel Radio reported Sunday.
