6. Sinclair affiliate WGME reports on the controversy
Tonight on their 6:00pm newscast, the Sinclair-owned CBS affiliate in Portland, ME had a piece about the "Stolen Honor" decision made by their parent company. They aired the concerns of the Democrats, including Rep. Tom Allen, and responded with more of the same old crap from Mark Hyman arguing that "car bombs reported in the media are in-kind contributions to Kerry campaign." They also aired the comments from three people on the street, two who thought it was a mistake to air "Stolen Honor" and one who thought they should air it and let the people decide.

The anchor said that "Stolen Honor" is scheduled to air on Oct. 23rd. He also parroted the company line that the "final cut" of the film hasn't been decided yet and that Kerry has been invited to participate in some sort of BS panel after the film.
