I'd like to have another discussion about progressive language.

I'm not sure how exactly to launch it, but I remember the very constructive discussion we had here about the word progressive as a substitute for liberal. I'd like to revisit that. There seem to be enough interested people to get this going.

I note that the Dem Senators today seem to be seizing upon the phrases "birth tax" and "credit card" to describe our debt situation. The message seems to be very standardized. I regard that as a good first step.

So... let's discuss the language of a progressive. :D
