...you are actually on the record of having voted for the Resolution is, you have to have signed it.

One of the Senators says, "Mr President, I ask unanimous consent that this Resolution be adopted as read (or as presented), then the Acting "President of the Senate" says, "All in favor say "Aye,' Apposed? The Ayes have it, it is so adopted."

(or something like that, those might not be the exact words)
