Seems to me the White House and Karl Rove are doing what they do best: trying to pump us into warmode again by playing the 'our testosterone is stronger than your testosterone' routine.

Seems this is more smoke and mirrors to erase the truth and history about our storming into Iraq.

One thing is clear: there was no warm and fuzzy from either party happening after September 11, 2001.

There was only frantic, illogical, overreacting and overreaching. There was certainly no warm and fuzzy therapeutic inner child work coming from ANYWHERE.

Certainly Karl Rove knows is true. In fact, this is an obvious tactic used often against the Democrats. It has been used repeatedly to challenge us to show our MANHOOD, and to needle, jab and stab at us until we take the bait, and pull the trigger of war again ourselves, while the White House and others sit by and laugh that we have fallen for it once again.

Everybody with a brain (andrea mitchell*) can remember that both Parties went into fear/war mode and reacted like a herd of obedient shepherds after the 9/11 "attack" happened.

Worse case scenario is the Bush Administration is playing good Cop/bad Cop with some of our Congressional leaders to pump up war with Iran.

What better way to do that than to re-hash 9-11, and call the Dems wusses, and make up a bunch of "spittle" about how warm and fuzzy and sensitive the Dem leaders were at the time. Our mistake was in following the Republicans into war, just like they are attempting to pull on us again.

What was therapeutic and warm and fuzzy about giving the White House a blank check to demolish Iraq and what has been warm and fuzzy about turning the US into a surveillance society with the Patriot Act? Wheres the warm and the fuzzy? WHere are the therapists?

Actually I wish more of that had been true than this fight for who can be macho enough by both parties.
