5. VNRs and Bush Propaganda

I've written a bunch about fake news at JABBS, at http://jabbs.blogspot.com.

Anyone who underestimates this administration's ability to promote fake journalism isn't paying attention -- undocumented video news releases featuring fake journalists and/or p.r. staff posing as fake interviewees, a $300M budget for such things as comic books for Middle Eastern children, the Pentagon Channel, paying conservative columnists to promote the Bush agenda, and of course, Jeff Gannon.
