Do you really trust ANYBODY (D or R) in this government anymore

to do what is right by the people? I don't All I see is the same names recycled over and over and over again between the elected group of officials and the appointed group. Once some one has work out his/her good graces in either of those, they get shifted to the K Street firms and they never go away. Unfortunately the only mechanism to change the rules are by those very same rule makers. I realize that these bad actors need to be voted out, but when they are some next administration simply appoints them to something and they are out of the public eye for scrutiny long enough for people to forget. Eventually they surface again. Witness the large number of Nixon/Ford criminals still floating around in various offices and agencies in this administration.
