"Godwin’s Law" is bullshit

Godwin’s Law in its simplest form says that the first person to use the analogy that some person or group is a fascist loses the argument.

Godwin (whoever the hell he is) is fill of shit for two main reasons.

One: Godwin obviously had NO fucking idea where this country was headed when he came up with his little “law”.

Two: While liberals have sat around and coward at using the word the GD fascist bastards on the right like Bush and his “Islamofascist” and Horrorwitz and co. with their “liberals are fascists” have used the term to the point where now calling them fascist, which they most certainly are, doesn’t make a dent. We sit and let them define us over and over and NEVER learn.

Even John Dean, who writes this tremendous book on how conservatives are authoritarian freaks is AFRAID to come out and say what is obvious, the right has lead the nation to a dark, dark place which is not only authoritarian but fascist in nature. No, Dean, afraid the ghost of Godwin will snag him, jumps through fucking hoops in every interview to say “we aren’t there yet, but we could be if we keep going down this path.”…what’s he fucking afraid of? Godwin?

Fact is we are authoritarian, an “Americanized” authoritarian nation if you will, we are now a torture loving fascist nation, an “Americanized” fascism if you will, we are a theocratic nation, an “Americanized” theocratic nation in diapers if you must, but a theocratic nation nonetheless.

We sit around playing games with the GD words, afraid to call this what it is and the whole while these theofascist bastards are taking our country and the world to hell.

There you go, use “THEOFASCIST” if it makes you feel any better.

Cell’s Law: Godwin’s Law is null and void because Godwin didn’t have a GD clue where we were headed.

Zappa knew exactly what he was talking about when he faced down this SOB from the theofascist Washington Times.

See the video here:

Zappa: The biggest threat to America today is not communism; it's moving America towards a fascist theocracy and everything that has happened during the Reagan administration is steering us right down that pipe.

When pressed to give an example of what he meant by a "fascist theocracy," Zappa continued:

Zappa: When you have a government that prefers a certain moral code derived from a certain religion and that moral code turns into legislation to suit one certain religious point of view and if that code happens to be very, very right wing almost toward Attila the Hun.

Lofton: Well then you are an anarchist. Every form of civil government is based on some kind of morality, Frank.

Zappa: Morality in terms of behavior; not in terms of theology.

Former top (Unification Church) official Steve Hassan believes that the Washington Times is a "Trojan horse" within the conservative movement. Hassan told EXTRA!, "Conservative politics is glad to have a voice through the Times, but ultimately it has nothing to do with conservatism. It has to do with fascism."

There you have it, theofascism.
