I live in a state that went overwhelmingly for Bush, so my vote wouldn't have done anything for Gore anyway.

I was really pissed off at both Gore and the Democratic party, and wanted to send a message that they can't just take my vote for granted.

I will be voting for the Democratic nominee no matter what this time, however my state votes. I think it's most important to send a message of unity against Bush.

If the Democratic party blows it and loses to Bush this time, I may move on to "Greener" pastures. If you're going to be a member of a party that can't win elections, it might as well be a party that actually stands for something.
