This gives you confidence in Hillary's post-nomination electability? Have you been asleep for several decades or are you just somehow not familiar with the GOP attack machine?

Perhaps you aren't aware that GOP apparatchik Lee Atwater spread rumors that the GOP had photos of Michael Dukakis' wife burning the American flag years previously. This actually did Dukakis a lot of damage even though it was years earlier and even though no photos were ever shown.

Regardless of when it happened, imagine the GOP in the post-911 era trotting out real photos of Hillary kissing the wife of a terrorist. Not a rumor. Imagine the GOP actually showing those photos in ads on TV.

And incidentally, I was very much involved in getting Al D'Amato out of office. If you haven't seen him at work, you don't know what a GOP attack machine is really like. He terrorized New Yorkers. Literally. The whole state was afraid of him. Politically he MAULED people. He was a fascist. He went around confiscating other people's microphones. After he lost reelection, someone sang on New York radio a song about D'Amato, sung to the tune of "Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead," but replacing "witch" with "D'Amato." Everybody felt like we were all emerging blinking in the sunlight from Al D'Amato's wicked little gingerbread house.

You haven't a CLUE what the GOP is going to do to Hillary. I suggest you think about it.
