However, I wonder how many of these posters who are justifiably doubting Matalin as a source are the same ones who believed Drudge when he said the Obama Somalian garb picture came from the Clinton campaign? It seems that the Republican-owned media are trustworthy only when they say good things about the candidate we want to win and bad things about the opponent.

I would never quote Matalin as a reliable source and I really don't care if Obama and Cheney are distantly related. There are silly posts coming from both sides, but it makes things 1000 times worse when people take one silly post and use it to broadly characterize a candidate and his/her supporters as pathetic, desperate, liars, Repubs in Dem clothing, etc. There are silly posts on both sides and there are also thought-provoking and useful posts on both sides.
