Pelosi and Reed never went for impeachment. They knew B*sh in the White House would be the best advertising money could buy as to why people should never vote for a Republican again. Their strategy takes a lot of heat, and they are under a lot of pressure but it will be worth it if it pays off in a super majority. Which in my opinion is what they had to try for. Nothing is going to get done without it.

Hillary as the nom guarantees a super majority will not happen. The Republican turn out will be too high and the disenfranchised Obama supporters will not be motivated by her to go to the polls.
