in every single post I've seen of hers she's been not only a staunch but also a dignified supporter of Barack. If one can't post worries, concerns, commentary on their own without reprisal, that's a sign that enthusiasm is turning into fanaticism, and needs to be checked. that said, I share her worries about this issue, and moreover have already gone on record to say that I have others besides about him. not enough to lessen my support and belief in the integrity of the man, but warranted as the conscientious circumspection we should all as responsible citizens give both those whom we advocate and doubly to ourselves. I've written elsewhere, for example, that I'm not altogether comfortable with Obama's energy policy (and nuclear industry connections to it), or the vagueness of some of his assessments of the very complex political situation in Iraq for that matter. But while each candidate has his or her positions etc that I may not fully support or sanction, he's earned my trust most as a candidate of the poise and sound judgment I see as the essential character qualities of a good president. This after almost a year of following him and the other candidates, and exercising the parameters and capacities of the benefit of the doubt. Remember Descartes' maxim, that all true knowledge begins with doubt.
