BTW - Kerry had the swifts swatted down immediately after they came out in May2004. They retreated and came back in Aug2004 when McAuliffe's DNC schedule made sure Kerry would have a month where he couldn't spend money and would need to rely on the Dem party for the messaging - how did they do?

Kerry had a huge speech countering the swifts and challenged Bush to debate their services publicly and stop hiding behind the swifts to do his dirty work. That speech was in front of the Firefighters Convention on Aug 19, 2004 - the corporate media refused to broadcast that speech, and barely reported that it even occurred.

Do you think if the news networks had refused to broadcast Obama's speech and barely reported on it that the Wright issue would be over any time soon?

You should learn about the chronology of the swifts' campaign and the media's COMPLICITY to protect Bush's second term - and think again before you reference it the way you did.
