4. Interesting point and fun pics...takes me back...

I had a book bag in high school in the 60's...it was essentially a canvas pouch with a cinching cord which closed it and allowed me to throw it over my shoulder. A few of us had them...but you're right...I can't recall seeing a female carrying one in those days.

But her speech was such a total fabrication...when I watched it last night of KO, there was the sound of jaw hitting floor when even Mrs. PCIntern said, "She's lying. That's ridiculous. Look at her bullshit everyone." And so far, she is/was voting for Hillary.

That was the most disingenuous statement/story I've heard in a long time from a Democrat. I was there in '68...I know how we felt...it was a troubled time to say the least. But it would be the equivalent, say 40 years from now, of my kid running for political office and saying, "When 9/11 happened, I was in school that morning and when they told us about the towers and the Pentagon, I began to weep uncontrollably for the lost lives and the destruction, and the fallout from the dust, and I just knew that life would never be the same - that all the pieces from the building represented my shattered soul. I knew then that I was forever changed, even though I was only eleven years old. I unexpectedly and violently shoved all the books and papers from my school desk with one violent sweep of my arm."
