and trotted out by every Republican pol and hack since Rove set about creating his permanent Republican majority. Everytime I see this language used in the press and by posters on these forums, in particular, I cringe. The media's use of it can be chalked up to pathological laziness and greed. Posters on DU who use Luntz wingnut descriptive language as a matter of course are always suspect to me. That Hillary Clinton seems content to let her campaign use Republican tactics and language says to me that her motives are suspect as well and she is in bed with the worst of the right wing.
