At 20 or more points she could claim that if she replicated that success in the other remaining states--all of them mind--she could pull even with Obama in delegates. 20+ pts were needed in PA just to continue this travesty with a straight face.

But winning by only 9 or 10 pts. it just makes the hill (ahem) steeper. Now she needs 30+ pt blowout wins everywhere. Obviously there's no chance. She has to pray for an assassin or a meteorite to take Obama out.

Pennsylvania was her one big opportunity to make up a lot of ground on Obama and win in such a convincing way that she could claim that there was a whole new ball game. Maybe she wouldn't win the delegate race outright but she could make Obama appear unelectable.

She failed to realize that opportunity--went deep into debt-- and now there won't be another big chance. She's finished.
