She's still trailing

Even after a primary contest that saw thousands of Republicans crossing over to vote for Hillary, thus insuring her a win in PA, Hillary is still trailing in all of the meaningful categories. She is still a hundred plus behind in the delegate count. She's still a half million behind in the popular vote count. She's still millions of dollars in debt.

And she is not going to win in North Carolina, and at best she might eke out a win by a very slim margin in IN. Nor is it looking anymore promising in the states coming up after that.

But she's going to continue this primary death march. Her ego, her greed won't allow her to quit, no matter that it is an impossible task that she's set for herself, no matter that she's tearing the party apart.

It's really become a sad and pathetic spectacle, a candidate begging for money on national TV during her "victory" speech. But hey, Rush still likes her, as does Coulter, Murdoch, Hannity, Buchanan, and millions of other Republicans. When will she figure out that these sort of victories are hollow ones, that she's not riding on the shoulders of Democrats, but on the shoulders of Republicans who want her to win only because they know that McCain will beat her like a gong in the fall.

But I suppose we'll continue this death march. It is, after all, her right. No matter that it is foolish and counterproductive, sad and pathetic that Hillary is willing to sacrifice so very much on the altar of her greed and vanity.
