1. Every time I see one of those miserable attack ads--

which are incidentally all McCain has, talking about "Obama will raise your taxes"--they raise my blood pressure. Lie! Damn lie!

The economists have been over that one, and the fact checkers have been on it, too. Barack Obama, like he said, will not raise taxes if you make under $250,000. That's a very small percentage of people with a tax raise. In the meantime, it's McCain who will tax your employer-provided benefits--whoa! Tax raise on the middle class! And also, McCain talks about how peope will lose jobs with Obama's economic plans--

Plenty proof McCain knows nothing about them (um, see who worked on Wall Street a little--maybe educated himself...) McCain's plan is a continuatio of BUsh policies, and unemployment is at a five year low--

Who's better off than they were four years ago? Anybody?

His lies about his super-great VP pick are so pathetic--she is not a reformer except by accident and she is not qualiied for the job, her foreign policy cred is nil, and if she's learning at Lieberman's knee, she's picking up bad neo-con habits. The E-bay plane sale lie though is egregious because, yes, it would be a great story if it were true, but it isn't! Just isn't!

Hearing a BS ad, with "I'm John McCain and I approved this message," just reinforces to me: "I'm John MCCain, and I gave up all hope of being honest years ago. Think of putting my old behind in the Oval Office as 'Make a Wish' for old rich people. Or send me to Disneyland. That might be nice, too."

(Sorry--I just don't type well. At 1 am. When at the bourbon again.)
