162. I had no idea what this OP meant when I read it... |

...and only reading the comments gave me an idea of even the topic.
Seriously, why would anyone rec an OP that says absolutely nothing? "Black/White bullshit" - meaning viewing the world in black and white (that's what I thought at first, because some of the black-and-white thinking I see here really bugs me. But no, this post is more an example of that thinking rather than fighting against it...) ? Racism (but then, I would think that "racism" is easier to type and more explanatory than "Black/White Bullshit".)? Photos in black and white? The computer game? The black and white borders on the website (removing them would certainly be taking "the Black/White... off DU")?
Seems to me that this OP made no point and no case - and yet tons of people recommended it... I don't get it. This post seems to refer to some ongoing battle, but not a single reference in the OP, and no link to the thread to which it MIGHT refer.
Once I (sort of) figured out what the topic was, I then realized that there was no point on that topic. It seems to be simply a demand to either ban all the "Black/White BS" or make everyone ("Any of you") not post on the topic, which appears to be race. How do YOU define bullshit? IMO race is a topic that needs to be discussed. But then, I am not sure what the "bullshit" refers to, so I cannot make an estimation of the point of the post, and therefore cannot even come close to "taking sides".
It would be nice, IMO, if OPs were such that people might have a clue as to what they refer...
On a side note, as mentioned above, I would like to see the black-and-white THINKING stop here (though I am not suggesting a ban) - that is to say, demands (like this one) from individuals that seek to homogenize thought here on DU. I understand the need to keep out freepers and so forth, but I do not see the need to shut people up - nor do I understand the arrogance of those that would seek to tel everyone else what topics may or may not be discussed on DU. One person demanding that everyone else follow THEIR convictions is inherently undemocratic.
Also, I thought DU accounts were for individuals - to what "we" do you refer?
