The reason I became a liberal at 14 is because of Reagan. That's actually in my DU profile. I despise Reagan and all he stood for and started.

I lived in DC in the early 90s and saw Clinton inaugurated in '93. I was full of hope that day. He did some good things as president, but he also sold us down the river on Nafta, the Telecommunications bill, welfare "reform," repeal of the Glass-Steagall act, and other of his "triangulation." Plus, he couldn't keep it zipped, and that probably cost Gore the election by making it close enough for them to steal.

Bill Clinton isn't all bad, but he has behaved reprehensibly in the primary season and post-primary season. It's like for him there was no other scenario that Hillary be installed as the nominee, in spite of what the voters wanted, and since his plan has gone awry, he can't get over it and is acting like a spoiled, petulant child. Hillary has had her moments, and I was furious with her during the primaries, but she has been far more gracious than Bill in the post-primary season.
