323. I think that people are overreacting.
Bill and Obama are not friends, until quite recently they were on opposite sides and Bill is still pretty upset about being portrayed as a racist. All things considered, he's doing more than could be expected. A lot a people around here idolize Ted Kennedy, but he behaved abominably when he ran against Carter.

Bill will campaign for Obama if asked, but to expect him to be gushing with praise is asking too much. Who would believe him? Bill will do his duty, and so will plenty of Democrats, but no one is obligated to like Obama.

As for the "haters", the LW blogs treated both Clintons far worse than the Freepers did during the entire primary, this is just a continuation of more of the same. There's always an excuse found to trash either Clinton. Why do you think that most Clinton supporters left this board before the primary was even over?
