1) They're actually trying to flip Rove against Darth or Shithead but hell, we supposedly went through this weeellll over 24 business hours ago;

2) This quote in the McClatchy article:

Perhaps they don't want Rove's Congressional testimony to interfere with any actual prosecutions that result from this special prosecutor's office.

Waiting for Emptywheel's take on this. For now though this is highly disappointing and the luster is beginning to wear off.

Also -- aren't there other full-bore Contempt of Congress citations that are pending for Rove, Mier's et. al.? Are they tied up in court?
