The following (in bold) is word-for-word from a poster on a relatively non-political board I frequent who posted on a "Presidential Debate" thread that was opened last night:

-------------------------

"Okay, I have totally stayed out of politics here and elsewhere...but I've got to say that Kerry really impressed me tonight. I thought he was very clear in his answers, and I had no doubt what his stand is. The president, however, did indeed look like "a deer in headlights", which was exactly the term I used to describe him to my son when I picked him up from work. (before I read this thread) Also, didn't it look like he kept shrinking during the debate? Like his neck kept getting shorter and shorter until his head was right on his shoulders, but looked too big for his shoulders?

The president kept repeating the same few things over and over. I can't wait to hear what he has to say about health care.

Thank God for these debates or I might've made a hideous mistake at the polls.

----------------------

Is that cool or what?
