And yes, I do see how such a thing could be overlooked. The hot air blower would not be torturing the dog - otherwise, the standard time would not be 15 minutes. What happened is the dog dehydrated in the drying chamber, got over heated, and died. Much like being left in a hot car.

Reading some of the reactions here, it's as if they think the girl stuck him in a microwave or something. Who knows how she made such a terrible mistake, but that is all it was - just a tragic accident.
