It's reprehensible that the Republicans on the Judiciary Committee aren't participating. Putting aside the alleged fraud for a moment, there's still more than enough evidence that the election process was, to say the least, problematic for tens of thousands of voters. (And potentially tens of thousands more who were affected but aren't aware of it.) By sitting this meeting out, the Republicans are saying, "We don't give a damn about investigating voting irregularities." It couldn't be more clear if a camera caught DeLay flipping Conyers the bird.

And yes, last I heard the meeting is scheduled to begin Wednesday morning at 10 a.m.
