This a polite demurral held at arm's length by the mainstream. Since when did any real action like the march on Selma settle for a polite unofficial hearing composed of and for the choir?

In your face action should test the test. The absence of protest by the democrats is crippling in one way, liberating in another. Those protesting can easily be caught in the middle and trapped in inertia and irrelevance. Obviously this ain't the Ukraine, but then, there they HAD the support of DNC organizers.
