Hey guys, sent this to my Republican representatives in Congress. I doubt that they will do anything, but I figured I would play on their "good Christian values," and try to appeal to their reason :eyes: , or lack thereof. I've, of course, still not received a reply. Here goes:

Senators Nickles and Inhofe, Representative Cole:

First, I'd like to thank each one of you for the work you've done for Oklahoma. Your representation in Congress has insured that our great state continues to make an impact on U.S. foreign and domestic policy. Your good works have insured that Oklahomans have a steady and informed voice in our countries ongoing national discourse. Suffice it to say, each one of you can count me as a supporter in the past election and elections yet to come.

I'm personally very happy to have your representation in Washington, D.C. Transparency in the electoral process in this country must be observed. Fraud is evident based upon the exit polls that proved the very same in the Ukrainian elections. There is literally a prima facie case of election fraud in Ohio based upon a wide array of statistical evidence, signed affidavits, and hundreds of reported cases of voter suppression, intimidation, and disenfranchisement. To ignore this is to say that it is okay for valid votes to go uncounted, for American rights to be trampled upon, and for democracy to take a back seat because of party affiliation.

I'll go one further -- having voted for Bush in 2000 -- it is imperative that he NOT again assume the office of the presidency absent of the TRUE will of the people. Regardless of my own party distinction, I have come to realize that there was something fishy on November 2, 2004. Some would say that the Democrats are sore losers, and that the current ongoing investigation of Election Day is a partisan issue. Well, it is most definitely not a partisan issue. This is an issue of integrity. This is an issue that gets to the very founding, the very heart, of our democracy. This is an issue of doing the right thing - even if it may be viewed by some as the unpopular thing to do.

I ask you, Senator Nickles, Senator Inhofe, and Representative Cole -- will you ignore this because of party affiliation? Will you turn your back on the concerns of your constituency because you refuse to see the "big picture"? Will you fail to act on this issue because the media has wrongly framed the issue? Or will you do the Christian thing and be a voice that speaks for those who have been disenfranchised, those that were intimidated, and those whose votes were put by the wayside because of partisan politics?

I must say with great temerity, if you cannot go beyond partisan lines and ensure that this issue is acted upon then you will surely not receive my vote and I dare say a good number of others that I know. I will personally do everything within my power to insure that those who, like me, voted for you cast their votes for someone else when the time comes. Of course, Senator Nickles, I am fully aware that you shall be stepping out of the Senate, and thus it is my august wish that you will past this on to your successor, Dr. Tom Colburn, should this issue drag into the 109th Congress.

I thank you for your time and ardent consideration in this most
pressing matter.

Signed,
XXX
