My friend Venk used to encourage us to talk like Apu on the Simpsons. I was the only one who embraced that. I would deliberately talk like Apu, but I would say nice things, and just plain old everyday things that aren't insulting like that character. I learned how to expand my abilities to speak.

He also told me about how Sanskrit is a pretty cool language, and we would listen to the Gyuto Monks' chanting and we would chant like them together, much like Termudgeon and his "Brother" did in the movie Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan.
