63. Actually they DID
Christmas was from the Winter Solstice. Where did I learn this? Try catholic school. The reason was in early times the christians wanted to get pagans to join the flock, so Rome incorporated some of the pagan rituals and customs into christianity so pagans would not have so difficult a time adjusting.

Didn't any of you christian/born agains ever hear this? Whether you believe in the church or Rome or not, maybe you should a learn little about the history of christianity. Like it or not, Rome was the FIRST seat of christianity. History is what history is.

I have no horse in this race (topic). I am neither a christian nor an atheist, but an agnostic.
