Then can play physical, and do well when they do, but their focus is always on discipline first and foremost. Their game doesn't depend on antagonizing anyone on the other team, it's all about what THEY do, not what the other team does. I love the approach, despite my love for the Big Bad Bruins of old. That style doesn't cut it anymore in the NHL, and with powerplays as deadly as ever taking dumb penalties is just shooting yourself in the foot.

The Flyers have a couple of guys who have to play on the edge to be effective (Carcillo #1 amongst them), but they've been reserved so far. Hell, even Pronger is a playing like a Lady Bing finalist! :)
