What can I substitute for brown sugar?
Advertisements [?]
I want to make some choco chip cookies and don't have brown sugar in the house. I really don't want to run out to the store.

I found some recipes that call for butter flavored Crisco. That's my first substitute. Crisco for the real butter.

Maybe I should just switch to sugar coookies. It's just that I'd like to use up the choco chips.

Thanks!
