23. My son used to do the chanting
We took him to a psychologist and he diagnosed him as tourettes (copra la la). He would chant these weird
half words, like aga aga aga over and over. The school used to punish my child for his behavior. This was
a tic and he could not help it. The assholes. Later I took him to a neurologist who said he did not have
tourettes, but had ad/hd, but I'm not really sure. He took stimulants and they really didn't help. He would
sometimes have such bad temper tantrums, just falling in the floor crying and screaming for about 1-1/2 hours.
He eventually got better (neurologist said he would be able to learn how to control it with age).

There is a book that helped. It's called Teaching the Tiger. I used to buy it and would give to his
teachers. It's an excellent guide to follow and it explains much of what my child was experiencing.
