My little bird needs prayers [View All]

Perry, my "male" once- very abused and neglected rescue parrot, turns out instead to be a "Peri". She has laid one unbearably cute little (infertile) egg.

Unfortunately the rest of the clutch isn't going as smoothly, and she is significantly overdue for the next egg. If I find another egg on the bottom of the cage this morning, good (but she still has to struggle through on average another two to four eggs to complete the clutch, and it has been a struggle for her); otherwise I need to call the head of the rescue group that placed Peri with me, and we will have to find her vet care this holiday eve (care that, once found, I'm not sure how I will pay for).

It was good to see her happy for quite possibly the first Christmas in her life; now she's in pain, back to plucking herself, and at some risk of serious health issues. Please pray for her.
