Actually police depts use psychics quite a bit, but keep it secret. Often sending their wives for example to get help on a big case.

Back to your situation. Usually in these cases the spirits go back to the house. They do not identify with their dead bodies, they do not even know that they are dead in many cases. So even if they had been buried elsewhere or even cremated they would go back to the house. That is why you most often hear about haunted houses, or where ever the discarnate spirit resided. The homes where they lived carry some energetic imprints that gives them comfort.

And yes the parents may have been too distraught, angry and heartbroken to receive any messages from their children. And the children most likely were hurt, scared and angry that mom and dad would not respond to them or talk to them. That is part of the confusion. They may be hoping for the parents to come back.

Yes I think the kids were sending you messages about who they are and what they were doing the last days of their lives. They are wondering what has happened.

In terms of developing psychic skills, the theory is that our pineal glands and the pituitary are the receivers of psychic messages. So we can all develop these glands to be better receivers. Meditation is the best way to do that. Also clear away all negative thoughts and feelings etc. The triad I believe in the most is from Edgar Cayce and he said, service, prayer and meditation is the way to obtain psychic gifts.

But to strengthen the pineal gland meditate nightly and do some some low throat humming, and you can feel the third eye vibrate. And also that whole pineal gland area. The vedics hum or say OMMMMMMMM. But it can be any low throat noise that vibrates the area of the brain above the nose.

Well you have a point, maybe you should think about it as a niche specialty in the psychic field. Most psychics don't really like doing this kind of work for many reasons. I think it takes a certain personality and headset to do it well and enjoy it. Also have to have strong nerves as the feelings of these discarnate spirits can be overwhelming as you have witnessed first hand! At any rate you may want to google it and see what you find. I know that there are very good training and workshops on communicating with discarnate spirits. Do you get the Omega catalogue? They have some very good training it looks like, if you think you need it. You may be beyond what they offer in termis of your skills.

Oh I don't know if this helps, but the heart chakra is how I send my messages out. You may want to do heart chakra meditations nightly.

The messages come in to the pineal gland, or third eye. And then messages go out thru the heart chakra, that is where anything healing comes from.
