33. vague images/sounds
I sometimes get images of friends/loved ones who've passed, but it is usually confusing as to whether that is my own mental image/memory of them, or is a sign. If I also hear something, like a familiar expression, then I take it as a sign that they are around me and trying to say howdy. As an example, I had a friend named Zaida, whom I used to tease a bit, calling her 'Zaida Ate a bagel.' She passed from cancer last year, and if I see an image of her, plus if I hear that expression in my ear, I can figure she is around. I would be really happy if I could get farther along than just saying hello. But so far that is pretty much it, just a friendly greeting mostly. I do sense my grandmother around me also, and in that case I hear her name (Dodie), and receive some advice like, keep swimming, or something about our similar genes. And I did sit in a man's chair who passed last month, I was at his wife's house, and I rocked in his recliner chair for half an hour, and started to feel like he was right there in the room, and in a really good mood.
