6. I always wanted to go to Chaco Canyon and my husband

and I were very close, but they weren't open yet for tourists (early spring). We promised to come back but by then my husband was ailing so we never made it. Every native though that I talked to in Taos and Santa Fe had a great reverence for the ruins and called it a very spiritual place.
