10. I love Bill Cosby but the problem is bigots use him as a shield
to cover for their racism ... if he says something they agree with, they automatically point out that Bill Cosby agrees with them ... in their minds, if a famous black person agrees with them on a certain issue it validates their bigotry because they can tell themselves 'I'm not really a bigot because Bill Cosby agrees with me.'

I remember during the election the bigots were spreading around this OpEd that Bill Cosby supposedly wrote calling Rev Wright un-American and that Obama couldn't be trusted because of his association with Rev Wright. In their minds, it validated their hate because "Bill Cosby thinks like I do."

Well, when I read it, I knew Bill Cosby never wrote such a thing! It was so obvious that Bill Cosby would never write the nonsense that was being attributed to him, so I did some fact checking to prove once and for all Cosby didn't write that ridiculous OpEd and even after I proved to them those words did not come from Bill Cosby they still kept posting it, and probably still do!
