Techwood Homes was an armpit when I lived in Atlanta up until I left in 2000. It was absolutely heartbreaking to see entire families there. Born there, raised there, die there.

Bankhead was much worse. I remember the part in the article when they talked about postal workers going on strike and refusing to deliver mail to Bankhead. That was just CRAZY.
