8. Oh God, tomorrow is going to be one for the ages
I just love pissed off Massachusetts pol in the morning. It seems like righteous victory. Seriously, when the Senator spoke these words in April, it had special meaning to me, especially given the setting:

This hall and this Commonwealth have always been at the forefront of seeking out and living out the truth in the conduct of public life. Here Massachusetts defined human rights by adopting our own Bill of Rights; here we took a stand against slavery, for women's suffrage and civil rights for all Americans. The bedrock of America's greatest advances-the foundation of what we know today are defining values-was formed not by cheering on things as they were, but by taking them on and demanding change.

That is one of the most flattering things you can say to a Mass-soul: you are descended from hellraisers, who changed the nation. Go forth and do likewise. (Oh, there aren't enough little :loveya: in the world for that. That was a wicked nice thing to say. Thank you Senator, it's nice to know that one pol in Mass 'gets us.')

Give 'em hell Senator, just give 'em hell.
