You think Obama would be doing so well right now if this was 2004 and all the Clinton loyalists were undermining his campaign QUIETLY and behind the scenes, and with a popular Bill Clinton going on all the shows and supporting Bush's decisions on terrorism and Iraq war?

There IS NO MYSTERY to WHY the corporate media did what they did. Dan Rather has spoken out a number of times about the media's need to protect Bush for the favorable rulings they expected in his next term.
