He must have strong memories of his own young adulthood and the terrible situations he was placed in.... He knows that it's definitely possible for us to be forced to grow up fast in certain ways because he experienced it. I think he cares deeply about us and wants us to have better experiences than he did at our age. He doesn't want another generation to be put through what his went through.
