I also understand the system is screwed. Everybody here does too.

The system has to be repaired - and I believe there are enough of us "americans" to assure a proper resolution - one way or the other. He is right about democracy, the way it is constituted.

He is right about most everything - it is very good.

It will work. The year procedural democracy meets tar and feather politics. It has been coming for decades, I suppose.
