2. Of course he has
I imagine that reply was not meant to be condescending as the 16th amendment is the core of the issue.

The proper ratification of the amendment, and the Supreme Court rulings that ensued are the crux of that aspect of the message.

This is a good subject for discussion and controversy, but to many, the evidence is irrefutable when investigated and understood.

I think the tables have finally started to turn on this and it is metamorphosing from a fringe, "tax protester" conspiracy wing to a very viable and necessary topic that requires exposure and careful scrutiny by the people of this country. Tacit belief in the current income tax seems to be more compelling than many of the facts involved and the implications that this amendment has had since its proposal.

Or, we could just go on playing this game, complaining about amounts and who has to pay what ;) That is functional in the current class warfare camp based on the cuts to the wealthy right now.

There are plenty of other taxes that pay the actual bills. Right now, the income tax is paying the debt on what the Federal Government borrows and wastes, IMO.

Of course, there are many other, empowering issues covered by the film that are timely, important, and even vital to our future liberty.
